Akshaye and Farhan first worked together in Dil Chahta Hai. Now they will be back together for Voice From The Sky. Saif Ali Khan was earlier the choice for the role, but he opted out. Talking about the change, Farhan said that both Saif and Akshaye fitted the role and since Saif was unavailable, Akshaye was the natural choice.
The main role in the film is of a young boy. 12-15 boys have been shortlisted for the role. Farhan is yet to finalize two female characters, who play very important roles in the film. The movie starts in November. Farhan is also working on Don 2. The movie will have all the actors from his first Don movie. Both these films will not be released in 2008.
The only release of Farhan this year is his acting debut, Rock On.
