Leg Spinner, Anil Kumble will act in the cricket-based flick Meerabai Not Out. This would be his debut film, which is being directed by Marathi director Chandrakant Kulkarni.
Produced by Pritish Nandy’s PNC (Pritish Nandy Communications), the movie also stars Mandira Bedi in the lead along with Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar and Eijaz Khan.
Mandira’s husband Raj Kaushal, who has earlier directed Anthony Kaun Hai, will be the line producer. Meerabai Not Out recounts the story of an avid cricket fan as well as Mandira.
