Guess some things are bound to happen… like Shabana Azmi, currently in Mauritius shooting for Onir's Sorry Bhai with Sanjay Suri, Chitrangada and Sharman Joshi, has said 'yes' to Anubhav Sinha's political satire Zindabad.
The film, to be directed by Anil Chowdhary, has been written by Anubhav who'll also produce the film. Says the Anubhav, "It's a political satire formatted as a farce. The script is written by Anubhav Sinha." The film also stars Anupam Kher and veteran A.K. Hangal.
Nandana Sen, who plays a pivotal part, is mighty charged about the project. "I've never done an overt political film before. It's a fabulously funny political satire about the world around us. It will make audiences sit and think."
Anubhav has been keen to work with Shabana for a very long time. "She's one of those actors with whom you've to work to be able to consider your oeuvre complete."
