Asha Bhonsle is going to perform with the classical jazz group Kronos Quartet at Opera House in Sydney this March. The 73-year old singer will be singing 'You've Stolen My Heart'. Asha was overwhelmed by the respect the group showed for her late husband and legendary music director R D Burman. She says that they wanted to know everything about him, the way he lived, the food he ate and so on.
Asha has recently launched her new album, Asha and Friends , in which she has sung with many well known personalities, from Bollywood actors to International sportsmen. In fact, she has also recorded a song with Brett Lee, the famous Australian cricketer.
