Asin, the queen who stole many hearts and shifted residence to Mumbai is in Chennai for a few days. Asin shot to fame all over India with Ghajini in Hindi opposite Aamir Khan. She is also remembered for her great performance in Dasavathaaram opposite Kamal Haasan.

Now, she is all set to be a part of a bigger project titled 19th Step directed by Bharat Bala and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The film also stars Tadanobu Asano, who is a Japanese actor; Asin plays his love interest in the film.

When she was asked about how she is preparing for the role, Asin said she is working very hard and is training in Kalaripayattu, an ancient martial art form which originated in Kerala.

Even after reaching Mumbai, Asin has not forgotten her friends in Chennai. Infact, she is in touch with most of them, and plans to invite them over for dinner one day.

The actress will fly back to Mumbai by end of this week as she has several movies coming up. According to reports, Asin is in discussion with Murugadoss for his next venture to be produced by Fox Star Studios.
