The latest Bollywood sensation and Vogue cover girl Asin is certainly making big waves in Bollywood, as she is in the South. She stars opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini and has signed Priyadarshan’s Aise Ko Taisa with Akshay Kumar. She has bagged another role in Vipul Shah’s London Dreams starring opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.
Asin is most careful in all her moves to take her success-quotient to a higher level in Bollywood, without giving any chance of slip-ups or bad choices!
Now, the latest news is that Asin is out of Priyadarshan’s laugh riot Aise Ko Taisa opposite Akshay Kumar due to a date clash in her call sheet. According to her father, Joseph Thottumkal, "There's a date clash with the promos of Ghajini."
Contrary to this explanation given by Asin's father, director Priyadarshan has another interesting version about Asin’s exit from his film! "The Akshay film is a three-heroine project. I don't think Asin would be comfortable with that. My producers Venus are looking into the matter of the heroines. We start shooting in November. So we've ample time to find the girls.”
Anyway, it is evident that Asin wants some author-backed central roles in Bollywood, not anything less than that! Let’s hope Asin’s decision to opt out from Aise Ko Taisa by a prominent director like Priyadarshan would not fire up a controversy in Bollywood!
