In spite of reports that Dev Patel made a lightning visit to Israel just to meet Freida Pinto, who was there shooting for a film a report confirmed by his mother the actress earlier kept dismissing rumours that the romance they shared on screen had slipped into reality. Co-stars in the multi-Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire, Dev and Freida shot to fame overnight, and have since been followed around by the paparazzi. Speculations that they are dating, have been in the news for a while now, but only now has the actress admitted it. "Dev is a lovely boy. Our friendship blossomed after the film, and now its gotten even stronger. Something more... This is all new to us, she blushes.
