Deepika Padukone has finally made it official. She has declared that she is betrothed to Ranbir Kapoor now. She said that they have decided to get married after five years or so as they are both currently very busy with their budding careers. She added that they are both happy in each others’ company and with the way their relationship is shaping up. And their parents are only happier than they are.
The actress has completed two movies and her third one is Bachna Ae Haseeno, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor. She said that they had the time of their life while filming in Australia for Bachna Ae Haseeno.
Deepika revealed that it was love at first sight for both when they met through mutual friends; at that time, Ranbir was shooting for Saawariya and Deepika was working for Om Shanti Om. Now they have come to this decision after they spent some time with each other and made sure they have it in them to take the commitment.
This declaration has ended a barrage of rumours that there was a rift developing between the couple.
