Ishmeet Singh: Voice of India dies!

About eight months back, Ishmeet Singh, a young lad from Ludhiana, captured millions of hearts with his voice when he won the singing competition 'Star Voice of India'. This bundle of talent was snatched away by the unkind hands of death, when he drowned in a swimming pool in Maldives early today. He was there to participate in a show to be held on August 1st. His death has come as a shock, not only to his family but also to all his fans across India, including several celebrities, who appeared as judges on the show. Lata Mangeshkar, who gave him the winning title of 'Star Voice of India' was shocked when she heard the news. She said that Ishmeet had a very bright future ahead. His death is a great loss to the future of good music.
