Change can be good and is more often than not needed from time to time, not just for betterment but also for progress; the latest corporate logo to undergo a change is Videocon. To kick off this change in a mega way, the Indian international brand traveled all the way to San Francisco to catch up with its brand ambassador Superstar Shahrukh Khan.
King Khan, who is currently in San Francisco shooting for My Name is Khan was in for a pleasant surprise when two fans (of a different kind) Chouw and Mouw barged into the sets. Though meeting fans from across the world is nothing new for SRK, these two fans were not just any fans. They were Chouw and Mouw -- two green flubber-like characters that had been roaming the streets of San Francisco for a while. In true gentleman style, King Khan exchanged pleasantries and shook hands with Chouw and Mouw, much to the amusement of the crowd present. Some fans even wanted to click snaps with these two cute and cuddly characters, who happen to be an integral part of Videocon's new look and logo.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahrukh said, "I am delighted to receive such a wonderful gift from my friends Chouw and Mouw in the form of new Videocon logo. My best wishes to Chouw and Mouw! As an actor in popular cinema, I continuously improve and reinvent myself to stay totally connected with my audience. Chouw and Mouw spent a few days in San Francisco with SRK while the star took special care of the two and introduced them to the entire crew on the sets of My name is Khan. In fact, Chouw and Mouw had free access to the entire set. The entire crew took an instant liking to the lovable and gregarious creatures and even let them help out in the various tasks on the sets of the movie. The grand finale was when they even got a chance to have a meal with King Khan himself.
Chouw and Mouw are the central characters of a new ad campaign of Videocon, depicting the positive dimension of change when they come together. They are shown in different situations transforming the lives of others. Chouw may be bigger, but at heart he is kind and empathetic; Mouw may be tiny, but is clever and street-smart. When they come together, they create magic, bringing about change and delight in everyone's life. Speaking on the innovative new campaign, SRK said, "I am confident, my best friends Chouw and Mouw will be loved by all and they are sure to capture millions of hearts and create smiles across the world."
