Kunal Kapoor makes an extended special appearance in the much-talked-about Yash Raj Films' forthcoming venture Bachna Ae Haseeno starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Kunal Kapoor, sources reveal, has been cast opposite Ranbir's real-life love interest Deepika!
It is also heard that though Kunal Kapoor makes a special appearance, his role is crucial to the film and is the surprise package of the movie. Apparently, Kunal Kapoor has signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films. He has already done two fims with them, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle. Bachna Ae Haseeno is the third film.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Bachna Ae Haseeno is a young, fun and naughty film. The movie chronicles the life of Ranbir Kapoor's character from age 18 to 30. The film has three heroines, Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Deepika Padukone, who meet Ranbir at different stages of his life. Looks like it has taken some inspiration from Ranbir's grand dad Raj Kapoor's magnum opus Mera Naam Joker.
Yash Raj is being very hush-hush about Kunal's appearance in the film. They want to keep him as the surprise element for audiences. "Wait till the film releases," is all the makers have to say for now. The film is set for an August 15 release.
Yash Raj has been known to add such elements in their films in the past; Akshay Kumar in Dil To Pagal Hai, Aishwarya Rai in Mohabattein and very recently Akshaye Khanna in Aaja Nachle.
