As the rain gods unleashed their fury on Chennai, Bollywood's leading lady Priyanka Chopra arrived as a ray of sunshine in the city. She was here to launch the latest Grand Carrera collection of watches of TAG Heuer, the leading international watch brand. The collection, inspired by Motor Sports, is a beautiful amalgamation of style and technology.

Galatta exclusive: Interview with Priyanaka Chopra
Present at the occasion were Mr. Manishi Sanwal, General Manager, LVMH Watch & Jewellery India Private Limited (Tag Heuer); Mr. Ashok Doshi, Managing Director, The Helvetica; and Ms. Manmeet Vohra, Marketing Director, LVMH Watch & Jewellery India Private Limited (Tag Heuer).
The event began with VJ Cary welcoming the guests. Mr. Sanwal explained about the collection. Priyanka spoke about her association as brand ambassador of Tag Heuer since two years. She also answered questions from the audience which ranged from her endorsement of the brand to her films. The star of Fashion and Dostana mesmerized the audience with her straightforward answers and down-to-earth persona.
When asked whether she would be interested in doing Tamil films, the gorgeous actress replied that she had made her debut through Tamil films (Tamizhan opposite Vijay) and Tamil Cinema is always very dear to her. So all of Priyanaka's fans can surely hope to see her in Tamil films!
Also present was Mr. Prabhu of Accolade PR who handled the PR for the event in Chennai.
