Bollywood has been getting experimental with its on-screen pairing for the past few years. Shahrukh Khan, 43, was paired with Deepika Padokone, 23, in Om Shanti Om; Bipasha Basu, 30, was paired with Ranbir Kapoor, 26, in Bachna Ae Haseeno. Yet another such pair is rumoured to hit screens soon.

We are talking of the current heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, the dancing diva of all times.

Rumours are rife that 42-year-old Madhuri Dixit is to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor in filmmaker-turned-politician Prakash Jha's next production.

Madhuri, who made a comeback in movies with Yash Raj Films' Aaja Nachle (2008), which tanked at the box office, has actually worked with Ranbir's father Rishi in Yaarana and Prem Granth.

If the news is true, then this won't be the first time that Ranbir and Madhuri are working with Prakash Jha. Ranbir is currently starring in another of Jha's political films, Rajneeti. Madhuri has worked with Prakash Jha in Mrityudand (1997) for which she won critical acclaim.
