Saif Ali Khan, the 36-year old national award winning actor, underwent a successful operation for appendicitis at the Gleneagles hospital in Malaysia on Thursday. He was admitted to the hospital after he complained of acute abdominal pain during the shoot of a commercial. Hospital sources say his condition is satisfactory and recovering fast.
Saif was there in Malaysia with his girlfriend Rosa, doing an ad shoot for Royal Stag O&M, when he complained of the pain. The star came to Malaysia after performing at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
