Shahid is going to celebrate New Year in a different manner this time. He is going to be in Mumbai to greet the New Year, performing in a show with Nelly Furtado. He is very excited about the event and said "I'll be performing on stage with Nelly Furtado. It will be great fun. I was going to be in town, and enjoy my time with my family. But now that I've been off-work for two months I've given enough time to my family. So they were extremely keen that I do this show with Nelly Furtado. Such offers to do shows with international artistes don't happen every day. It's a very interesting offer."
The Canadian singer-songwriter, instrumentalist and record producer received great success with the release of her third album, Loose.
The Nelly fan adds, "Her track Powerless is among my most favourite. I'm quite kicked by the idea of dancing with her. We'll be doing a fusion of her international tracks and my tracks."
