It's awards time again for Slumdog Millionaire. From the dust of Mumbai slums to red carpets and award ceremonies – the movie has travelled almost everywhere possible. The latest news is that Slumdog Millionaire has bagged 5 awards at the prestigious 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards.
At the Broadcast Film Critics' Association's 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards (BFCA) held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium recently, Bollywood's Slumdog Millionaire swept the stage, walking away with 5 awards.
The awards are: Best Film; Best Director (for Danny Boyle); Best Writer (for Simon Beaufoy); Best Young Actor (for Dev Patel) and Best Composer (for A.R. Rahman).
With BFCA being the largest film critics' organization with more than 200 members in US and Canada, it is indeed an honour for Danny Boyle and his crew.
