Sushmita Sen, whose relationships are the stuff headlines crave for, says she’s not ready to tie the knot; the time is not right, she feels.
"I have been intending to tie the knot since seven years. I have not found the right man yet. I think it's not time for me to get married yet," Sushmita told the media. The brand ambassador of Pantene shampoo was in Delhi for a media event.
When she was asked how she liked to style her hair, she said, "I prefer to wear my hair naturally because I am comfortable with it at all times. The last time I remember I did my hair was during the Miss Universe pageant."
Jhansi Ki Rani will see Sushmita debuting as director. The film, produced by her company Tantra, will portray the life of Rani Laxmi Bai, queen of Jhansi, who opposed British rule during the 1857 war of independence.
"I was never meant to direct the film but the film chose me. And believe me, it took me tremendous amount of courage to do that. Now I have crossed my fingers and hope everything goes fine."
Jhansi Ki Rani is slated to release in November 2009.
