Aamir Khan’s directional debut Taare Zameen Par, starring young star Darsheel Safary, has been well-received at the box office. Darsheel Safary has received accolades for his stunning performance in the film and is now being considered for several new films and endorsements.
Aamir Khan, along with the eleven-year-old young actor Darsheel Safary, hosted the Pogo Amazing Kids Awards 2007. This was the first time that the normally reclusive actor hosted an awards show and apparently the only reason he agreed to do it was because kids have been a real source of inspiration and strength for him.
