Helen, Cabaret Queen of the 70’s, will be seen in Rajiv Sharma’s directorial venture, Bachpan. Although she has done tiny roles in the recent past (her last release being Marigold), this time Helen will be seen in the lead role of a catholic lady in Bachpan.
Rajiv Sharma earlier had assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Madhur Bhandarkar and was the creative director at Firoz Nadiadwala’s production house. Neeru Sharma has penned the script.
Helen plays a cranky and short-tempered orthodox woman, who shares a love-hate relationship with her grandchildren. She will be seen opposite Tom Alter; Padmini Kolhapure will play their daughter. The film also includes four child artistes, who will play Helen’s grandchildren.
