Even before Vivek Sharma's Bhoothnath releases, the buzz about its sequel is already doing the rounds. On Javed Akhtar's recommendation, he plans to make a sequel to Bhoothnath. And now, Vivek is engrossed in the scripting process of Bhoothnath 2 (tentative title), which will star Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
Excited about the fact that he will work again with Big B, Vivek informs, "Javed saab suggested that I add one scene at the climax, which would give a hint for its sequel." He goes on to add, "The sequel will have a very international look with lots of magic, animation, and real action. The film will be made on the lines of international films like The Matrix, Lord Of The Rings, Harry Porter, etc."
When asked about rumours of the change in the climax scene, he clarifies, "There is no change in the climax; as far as the ending of the film is concerned, let the audiences come and discover if it's cheerful or sad."
Talking about the promotional strategy for Bhoothnath, he says, "We are coming up with innovative strategies starting with the unveiling of Big B's look in the film on March 15." Bhoothnath, which also stars Juhi Chawla, Priyanshu Chatterjee and SRK in a special appearance, slated to release on May 9, is produced by Ravi Chopra.
