After Shakalaka Boom Boom, Suneel Darshan is back with a bang and has planned an untitled film starring Upen Patel, which will go on floors in January. "The film will be a romantic comedy set in today's era but with all the emotional values, which my films have always carried," says Mr. Darshan.
When asked about the remaining star cast, he said, "As you know, I have signed Upen Patel for the lead in this film, because to me, he has the potential of being tomorrow's superstar. He reminds me of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan in their early days. In addition to that, Upen has a massive youth fan following. As for the rest of the star cast, I am yet to finalize the girl opposite him. I will announce the film on a grander scale in December as we have just finished the film's scripting. The film is being made with a budget of Rs. 20 crores approximately and will be shot mostly in India and London. I expect to release this film early next year and there will be many more surprises to follow. That's all I can reveal at this moment."
Upen will be soon seen in Ganesh Acharya’s upcoming Money Hai Toh Honey Hai which also stars Govinda and Aftab Shivdasani, and in another film, titled One Two Three, where he is paired opposite Tanisha.
